The Dissident.

A dissident in
the brightness of day
Brings Dissent to a
Nation while the leader reaps
A harvest to feast
Still the nation sleeps
Raped Pillaged and plundered
The dissident is not pleased,
Soon the country will reek of
Dissent in the streets.
A stench so thick, it engulfes
The placard carrying dissident
Who speak of tyranny
In their midst
Of haves and have nots
Of sleep and sleeplessness
Of the hopeful and the hopeless
The Dissident screams
On the tarmac streets
He marches In protest
As the Nation stirs
From its sleep
And finally Man and Dissident
March Side by side with screams
Of dissent gnawing at their heels.
