We used to like Henna;

but now we don't. A study has found that it increases a woman's chances of developing leukaemia. According to various studies, men are at a higher risk of developing leukaemia than women, yet in the Emirates - the results are reversed.

Doctors cracked their heads wondering why Emirati woman were at a higher risk when they virtually do and eat the same things as their men do? The answer lay in the Henna, their tradition that has been passed on from generation to generation.

I recently went to the salon and coloured my hair black using a henna product. I am sure there is nothing to worry about, but jus thought i'd put it out there for all you henna loving sisters.
