Miss USA 2010 is Muslim

And she is the first immigrant to win the title. She was born in Lebanon and relocated to the USA in 1993 with her family. There is a lot of controversy surrounding her victory. No she did not cheat, she is Muslim, and we all know about the love-hate relationship the Americans share with the Muslims.

Having said that, she was raised American, and although her religion might be different from the majority of Americans, it goes without saying, she won fair and square.

Black presidents, Muslim pageant queens, the world is really becoming a better place.

Now lets see more acceptance of African and other minority expats in the UAE, after all, the UAE follows where the USA leads.
